Q: I do not know what cylinder dogging is. are you referring to exterior cylinders to be able to open with a key from the outside?

Cylinder dogging is when you employ a cylinder pin tumbler key rather than hex key control over the dogging, leaving in an unlatched state, the exit device from the egress side.
