We have requested from the factory a template as to where to locate this cylinder mounting pad to confirm its height and its correlation to the device centerline but also its backside and then finally where to locate the two pad mounting screws but they're unable to provide this information.

A: Is there an existing exit device and if yes, template from the existing installation. If not I find 40-5/16" floor to device CL an acceptable location.
