Q: My Schlage Grade 2 knobs have the "tailpiece" build into the handle. Would that mean I just don't use the tailpiece that comes with the 15995SC-04-KD, and I assume there is a slot on the back of these Kaba replacement cylinders to accept the existing tailpiece that comes out of the handle? Is that how it works?

A: It's possible that the replacement cylinder from Kaba is not compatible with the grade to lock that you have. Can you email us, reply to this, a photograph of the lockset that you are working with?
