Q: Does this door have a gasket and is it suitable for exterior use?

A: The JL Industries 1814TMS 18" x 14" Stainless Steel General Purpose Access Panel does not feature a gasket. If you want a gasketed perhaps insulated unit look to the Cendrex PFI access panel on page 10 as seen here:

Please note we may need to process this as 14 x 18 ad the hinge needs to be on the second dimension and the second dimension cannot be smaller than the first dimension.
