Questions and Answers
Q: Is there an electronic strike that will fit this mullion?
A: The Jackson 30-896-10958-628 Removable Mullion with Installed Strike - Satin Aluminum as you know is not prepped for a strike right now and if I understand correctly you would like to have electrified control over the locking hardware. Please tell me the locking hardware that you are using with this mullion
Q: The one that I have currently came prepped with a strike and we are using the AHT8000 series panic device. It has the same build as a jackson panic.
A: Are you using a AHT8000 concealed vertical rod device?
Q: Sorry, no it's not a concealed vertical rod. It is just a standard push panic and latch.
A: The short answer is no - there is no way to add an electric strike into this existing preparation so as to account for proper device operation. The installation instructions as seen here:

will give you a better idea to as exactly how small that portion of the mullion is:

Having said that you could certainly add to the mullions the Trine 4800 series electric strike as seen here:

assuming of course you have not already installed the exit devices and can account for the marginal adjustment of the backset requirement. We do keep that strike on hand and can ship it out quickly. Please advise the voltage and type of current along with finish.

Alternatively I would look for a different device that can provide you with electric latch retraction as I would like to avoid having to run low voltage down through a million that is removable. I think long-term having to disconnect power to remove the mullion would that be an ideal solution.
