Upon reviewing your video it does seem clear to us the door was put on the closer while in the header in the open position.. When this occurs, when you close the door, it will open.
The closer comes to you at "0" zero.. which means the door is closed, So unless you have a side mount arm, which I am assuming you don't you will have to do the following. When closer is put in the header, you will need to open both closing and latching speed valves on the closer. Then you will attach a large wrench to the spindle of the closer and use wrench as if it were a door and open, it. Once wrench is in the door open position you will re-tighten down valves. This will allow the spindle to move slowly or not at all.. giving you will assistance enough time to slide door onto the arm. Once complete readjust the closing and latching speed to what you require. The door will now open and close properly.
