IVES CL11 US26D Invisible Latch - Satin Chrome Brass

Invisible Latch
Body: 1-1/4" Wide x 1-7/8" High x 7/16" Thick
Strike: 9/16" Wide x 1-5/16" High x 9/16" High
Invisible latch is ideal for installations where no visible latch is desired.
Unit can be installed at the top, bottom or side of the door.
Can be mortised into the stop or surface mounted to the stop.
Recommended for use on small panels, cabinet doors or light weight closet doors.
Operation is simple, latching is accomplished by a slight push. To unlatch the door, a harder push releases the door and pushes the door out.
Brass and plastic construction.
Applies 13 pounds to open the door.
Meets ANSI/BHMA 156.9, B03272

Questions and Answers

Q: I have one, but it seems that they are definitley "handed" - meaning it can only be mounted on one side of a door. The latch inside seems to only use gravity to engage the strike. Do you have left and right handed verisons? Or any other suggestion for mounting this on the opposite side?

A: These items are not gravity operated and simply rotate the item so that the plunger is on the opposite end of the unit and apply it to the opposite door side

Q: Do you need to push to close the door?

A: Yes the door needs to be pushed close to engage invisible catch so that it keeps the door in the held closed position.
