Q: The tip of the silencer in the AS18 and its convex shape tells me the SR64 is not the original tip with an AS18. Is this correct, but the replacement Ives suggests to use is the SR64?

A: According to Ives:

I would agree with that assessment. We purchase the AS18 complete from our supplier and it comes with the bumpers shown in your picture and described. We also purchase the SR64 silencer and these have been found to be a replacement for the bumpers used on the AS18
