A: I would remove the touch latch from the sidewall of what it is installed in and I would carefully lubricate it by any access holes available to you using the Bommer Lubricant for all Spring Products such as Single and Double Acting Hinges and Pivots as seen here:

This lubricant is found to be very effective when it comes to pieces of metal that need to work against each other and a spray lubricant would be desirable because you cant obviously disassemble the touch latch.
