A: Absolutely yes - the Hager 2961 & 2-679-0630 are compatible and the only thing that you really need to do prior to organizing all of this is to make sure that you have a power supply and a way to electrically connect the two units together but you'll need a request to exit switch of some sort. This type of switch can be buried in to an exit device or into a lock said or maybe into a request to exit push button. There would be a number of ways to do this but it would be the only other item that you would need beyond a power supply and the electrical wiring to connect all of the pieces together.
