A: Indeed yes this plate can be cut/trimmed but you will have the decade if you want to do this. What finish (base material) will you order? I stainless, might prove a chore to do so. You are far better off ordering a custom size and paying the reasonable uncharge for the special size. Also consider the location of the screw holes prior to cutting and if you are going to proceed you might want to consider shearing rather than cutting the plate.
