A: After the repair, the GT1175 control will not require to be re-programmed...
The control will retain all settings.

Q: The door opens at the correct speed and then slows when it is half way open and then closes only half way again at full speed and then reopens very slowly from this half way point. Is this not a programming issue? It is not moving constantly so seems to be operating based on the electronic eye. Thank you for all you help. Wendy
A: Yes, it sounds like a programming issue. You will need to get a handy terminal Kit, which is a 10 - day rental only as seen here:

to reprogram the control and see if that fixes your problem.
