Q: I have a patio table with a glass top resting on a metal tubular frame. The rubber bumpers for cushioning the glass have deteriorated. Would these be an appropriate replacement? Do you have any other product that might work?
A: These maybe an ideal replacement for your worn robber pads. These will require a hole be drilled into the metal structure below the glass. Can you accommodate this requirement?
Q: Thank you for the response. The reason I considered your rubber bumpers because the tubular frame already has ~1/4" holes for the old pads. Will those holes need to be enlarged?
A: You will want to enlarge the holes to 5/16" as it is possible you will get these into a 1/4" diameter hole, you will certainly find it a chore to fit them into this smaller improperly sized hole.
