Q: what is 5-pin drilled 6? does this mean i can use 6 pin

A: That means that the cylinder plug and the cylinder housing or bible have six chambers drilled but the unit is combinated to the first five chambers only - this means that you can insert a 6-pin key blank into it but if you wanted it combinated to all six chambers you would have to do that locksmithing.
