Q: Does this include the key?
A: Indeed it does, actually 2 - keys are included -

Q: What pinset is used to rekey this cylinder? I have 4 Schlage BE469ZP smart locks that I would like to rekey with the same Kwikset key as used on the rest of the property.
A: Are you saying that you want to remove the cylinders from your Schlage BE469ZP can you want to have a kwikset keyway passed through those Schlage locksets?
Q: Yes, I want to use the Kwikset keys used on the rest of the property in the Schlage smart locks. This requires replacing the keyway and cylinder in the BE469ZP with one compatible with Kwikset keys. I understand this product does this. As I have multiple Schlage smart locks, I will need to rekey some of the K001 cylinders to match. So, what keyset do I use in this cylinder? Images as seen here:

A: Thank you very much for the images and I would be very tempted to say that you should be able to use quite confidently the Kaba Ilco 15995KS-26D-KD Key-in-Knob/Deadbolt Cylinder with Kwikset 1176 Keyway - Satin Chrome.
Having said this, Schlage is profound in their ability to engineer material in a very proprietary way quite successfully discouraging compatibility with other manufacturers OEM parts.
It's worth a try but I can't guarantee it's going to fit in this is because I've never tried it.
Q: Thank you very much for your advice. Now, back to the original question: I will need to re-key these locks so they all use the same kwikset key. What pin set do I use with EACH of these locks? Thank you, -Daniel
A: I don't understand the term “pin set”. Please clarify what that term is referring to. Are you referring to depth and spacing data or locksmithing tools or a bitting number?
Q: What do I need to do so that I can set the cylinder to use a different kwikset key than the one it's shipped with? From the description, it appears that an order for 1 item will come with 1 key and 2 cylinders for the same key. I would like to use the cylinder with a different key. What do I need to do so that I can use a different Kwikset key with the K001 cylinder?
A: You would require a pin kit a plug follower, other small locksmithing tools and of course the knowledge of how to recombinate cylinders.
If you wanted to purchase this locksmithing equipment I would certainly recommend that you consider the LAB LMD3N1 Mini Dur-X Pin Kit, 3-In-1 Kwikset, Schlage & Weiser (Polyethylene) as seen here:

I would also consider the LAB LFT008 Plug Follower, Kwikset .500 Diameter a required purchase as well as seen here:

If this cylinder re-keying is a one-time requirement I would simply suggest that we perform the locksmithing services for you to your requirements and specifications. Our pricing is quite reasonable for this locksmithing service in my opinion.
Q: Would this cylinder fit in the Schlage Sense BE479 lock?
A: The GMS K001 KW A2 US26D Knob / Lever Cylinder with Kwikset Keyway for Schlage Locks would not fit into the Schlage Sense BE479 lock and I am unaware of any way to adapt a Kwikset keyway to this Schlage deadbolt.
Q: Hello - I have a smart bolt with a Schlage 5-pin (drilled 5). Id like to convert the cylinder to a Kwikset keyway and came across the GMS K001 KW A2 US26D, which is a 5-pin drilled 6. Given the space is tight in the smart bolt, do you have a product that is 5-pin, drilled 5 with KW1 keyway?
A: To my knowledge there is no cylinder that is drilled 5 and pinned 5 it will be of this composite type of generic design. Schlage in my experience does exert a tremendous amount of energy to not only continually redesign their product line but do so in ways that there are no other products that easily fit into their existing items.
Q: Can this be rekeyed with the Kwikset method or is it simply intended to match the rest of ones Kwikset locks? When I need a new key will this have to be rekeyed the traditional way?
A: The GMS K001 KW A2 US26D Knob / Lever Cylinder with Kwikset Keyway for Schlage Locks
can indeed be rekeyed in the traditional rekeing of pin tumbler cylinders.
Q: Is there a Kwikset cylinder that can replace a Schlage BE365 cylinder?
A: Send me photos of the BE365 cylinder please.
A: I have reviewed your photographs.
It would be highly unlikely that any other cylinder than a factory designed and engineered original is going to fit into the Schlage BE365 not only the length of the cylinder but the way that the tailpiece needs to communicate with the lazy action of the thumb turn.
if you were to attempt this I would consider using the
Kaba Ilco 15995AA-26D-KD Key-in-Knob/Deadbolt Cylinder with Arrow Keyway - Satin Chrome
as seen here

Is it is likely the shortest cylinder that there is no I believe its too long and the incompatibility will, not only with its length but with the tailpiece as well. The summary would be that you wouldnt know absolutely until you tried.
Q: I want to change the pins (rekey) to match my current Kwikset keys. Do these just take the generic Kwikset pins?
A: I would technically say, no, that this cylinder will not take generic kwikset pins as you might need to use a universal kit such as the LAB EPK003 Wedge Pro Pin Kit, .003 System (Metal Wedge)
as seen here:

Q: I just purchased this smartlock with the following core info https://support.u-tec.com/hc/en-us/articles/360031575532-How-to-Change-the-Cylinder-for-Ultraloq-U-Bolt-Series-. The rest of my house uses Kwikset smart locks. Can I switch to this cylinder to get the whole house on the same key?
A: Its very unlikely that the
GMS K001 KW A2 US26D Knob / Lever Cylinder with Kwikset Keyway for Schlage Locks
will fit into your existing lock and it is certainly not a smart key type of technology.
Q: Need to convert Schlage B60CAM622 deadbolt to Kwikset keyway/cylinder. Will this cylinder work?
A: It has been reported to me by one client they sucessfully convert the Schlage B60CAM622 deadbolt to Kwikset keyway using the GMS K001 KW A2 US26D Knob / Lever Cylinder with Kwikset Keyway for Schlage Locks. While I have never tried it, it might work given the generic design of the cylinder and the Schlage B60 deadbolt.
Q: I am actually looking for GMS K001 KW A2 US26D Knob / Lever Cylinder with Kwikset Keyway for Schlage Locks. I am trying to change a sc1 keyway to a kw1. I only need just one. Is it possible.
A: It is possible but tell me what lock you are needing the cylinder for.
