Q: Is there something to fix the no longer self closing kitchen cabinet hinge? I dread the thought of replacing all, when it's a little plastic part(s) that's failed.
A:
Yes - if the plastic mechanism that provides the self closing function is work out - a full hinge replacement is required. Is the hinge you have a discontinued item?
Q: Sorry to hear that. Silly to make a metal hinge dependent on a tiny piece of plastic, to operate. Not seeing a match available. Would've liked to repair them, but will swap with hinges on doors over the fridge, since those are rarely used. Thank you.
