Q: Can a replacement belt be purchased for this 8242 auto operator?
A: According to the manufacturer:
Unfortunately, the belt on these units is not an individually available item. If there is a problem with the belt (worn, broken, loose) then the motor gear will have to be replaced.
And when the manufacturer states “motor gear” they actually intended to state the part number
Falcon 8230-3454 Auto Operator Parts - Motor Gearbox Assembly

Q: Does Falcon provide an On/Off switch for the 8200 series operator?
A: The Falcon 8200 operator is not available with a factory supplied on/off switch. If required, it must be supplied by others.
A: As seen on the 11th page of the installation instructions as seen here:

is where you bring 110vac power to.
The factory is first to admit that the installation instructions are not necessarily very clear on the matter and that the factory also concedes that the gauge of wire at 18 gauge does tip some people off at it may not be appropriate for line voltage but because the amp draw is so small that it's not an issue for those wires to be 18 gauge.
Q: Will the Falcon 8200 series operator burn up if someone tries to open it when the door is locked?
A: The Falcon 8200 series operator has a circuit that shuts down the operator when a resistance of 15 lbs. occurs, so the operator will not be damaged.
Q: Good afternoon. I am emailing you because I have tried calling to see if it’s possible to return this order for the DCM DC19-1475-09 C Series Belt Motor To Transfer Pulley we purchased and then purchase the correct part. We were trying to get a band for our motor for the handicap door but have had hard time finding the right part. The number on the band say LCN 761178-0 and the moedem is by intertek. I am going to attach a pic of the band and modem as seen here:

I will send you a quote for the replacement parts required (which includes the belt). Please reply back with photos of the entire operator showing where it is installed on the door.
Q: Hello can I purchase the gear that the arm attaches to?
A: No, unfortunately the spindle shaft is not available as a separate stand-alone item.
