Q: Hello, I have a sliding door that operates on a single signal. One input will cause the door to open and the next input will cause the door to close. Can this model be configured to operate with discrete open and close inputs?

Q: I have two Doromatic 70588-900 that are not working. I suspect the control units, but the motor is not working as I would expect either. Since this is a government project, they are inclined to replace EVERYTHING. Do you have access to the motor as well?

Q: i havea Dor-O-Matic 70588-400 that has stopped working. I have power to it and the fuse is good. I have 13.7vdc out to the motor with the motor unpluged which drops to .08 volts with motor connected. Any ideas? can i send both units if needed for repairs? what is the turn around time?
A: I do not have any guesses that I can field in terms of what could be causing the problem.
We do not provide repair service on the motor or mechanical aspect.
The maximum that we can help you with his to provide you with a fully rebuilt unit.

Q: I have a door with the astro slide lock mentioned above. Is there an upgrade available to replace it? I would need to replace the transformer that feeds its power as well.
A: There is no direct replacement or upgrade that would be super simple for this 20-plus year old discontinued the item - in my estimation you have two choices - it would be to replace the controller, the motor gearbox all of the hangers and hardware and basically reuse only the door panels and sensors and activation switches or simply send us that item to have it repaired and rebuilt.
