Please be sure to select the correct hand when ordering. For instance you may notice the Right Hand and Left Hand Reverse drawings look similar. Indeed they appear to be similar. But there is a very important difference between them. The Right Hand drawing shows the push side of the door to be the locked (usually exterior) side of the door. But the Left Hand Reverse drawing shows the locked side of the door to be the pull side. This difference is significant when talking about door hardware as the application of that hardware is dependant upon the swing of a door.

Q: Is the old Doromatic 1090 the same as a 2090?

A: Yes, with the exceptions that the 2090 base material is aluminum whereas the 1090 was either brass or bronze base material depending on the finish.

Q: I am looking for a video or how to instructions for replacing the Dor-o-matic 2090 Lever Arm. This is the interior hinge for the right hand side of the panic bar that has the cylinder and pull on the exterior. We are a small school with a tiny budget and I can not call in a locksmith if this is something that I can replace. Thanks for any directions. I found a video online that your company posted so I thought I would ask for advice.
