Q: Where is it made?
A: the United States, Minnesota in fact.
Q: I handle commercial doors. I am a hardware specialist in the UBC. I have a 2500 door project coming up. None of them are lightweight. Does the doorkart act as a holder? Will it tip over if left alone? Same question applies to 4’ wide doors.
A: The door card will not only quickly and safely transport your doors from one point to another but you would absolutely be able to lie the door in the door cart and then set it stationary and it will not tip over at all - I have four of these in stock and can ship immediately. Every client who has purchased one absolutely loves it.
Q: How does this cart accommodate doors of different thicknesses? And what is the thickness range?
A: There is no specific accommodation on the Door-Kart Two Wheel Door Dolly to accommodate a range of door thicknesses. The manufacturer states “Fits material up to 1-3/4" thick” and this is indeed the size of the holder portion meaning such that it will accommodate this door thickness - you can certainly put something thinner in there like a 1-3/8” door or even 5/8” drywall or perhaps 3/4” plywood but its intended for a static thickness of 1-3/4”
