Q: How do you change the battery on the detex fv40 A: Remove the end cap then sliding out the filler plate sub assembly will reveal access to the battery. Q: Is the Push pad in solid black available as a retro fit for an existing V40 and if so, what is the part number and cost? A: For a 4 foot door you will need the 105417-4 and for the 3 foot door you will need the 105417-3. The current 2014 list price is 15.00 and 14.00 dollars respectfully.
