Q: I need a brass letter slot with a 14" interior opening. Does such a product exist?
A:
No - anything larger than approximately 12” is not available to my knowledge.
Q: What is Black PVD? Why is it better than 622?
A:
According to Frascio , Black PVD, is a finish that is designed to last a lifetime, even in exterior applications. The finish is obtained by treating steel with a physical process called PVD (Physical Vacuum Deposition) which deposits particles of noble metals on the surface. The result is a unique and refined aesthetic effect, and an improvement of the mechanical properties of the steel which is more resistant to impact and scratches. Images seen here:
