Deltana has a minimum order requirement. Orders smaller than the required minimum have a longer lead time as we need to consolidate onto a "stock" order. If you need a faster lead time, simply exceed the minimum order amount.
Deltana Steel Crash Chain with Vinyl Cover
The Deltana crash chain helps to safely prevent a door from opening too far.
The total length of the chain is 23”.
The spring section acts as a shock absorber.
It is especially good for exterior doors where weather and wind can be strong.
Includes mounting hardware & screws
We do not have installation instructions for this as none are available from Deltana, but simply locate the spring portion on the header, approx 6" from the jamb and then locate the other end on the door about 5° short of where you want it to stop at the maximum.
