Q: Iam a maintenance worker how can I in stall in a sheetrock wall

A: I would simply suggest that you use a toggle wing. This item is going to include a 5/16” machine stud which would be also known as a very short threaded rod so you're probably going to need to purchase a slightly longer piece of 5/16 threaded rod and then a simple 5/16” toggle wing should be a very elegant way to install this on to a sheetrock wall

Q: What's mounted to what? What goes on the door?

A: Are no hard-and-fast rules when it comes to mounting this but generally you would attach the bumper with hook to the wall and then the door would have only the staple or retaining portion where the hook would engage. Install it as it best meet your requirements but the above outline is generally how this is done.
