Q: can this product be shipped to Canada?
A:
Yes indeed it can be and we ship internationally every day.
Q: Can this product be used for 6 or 8-drawer cabinets?
A:
Absolutely you can because these snapper anti-tip mechanisms really only work on a pair of drawers. However having said that you would still need to be quite concerned about opening but say the top two cabinets or I should say cabinet one and three going from the top of the unit down that could be a problem because the Compx TLSN400 Anti-Tip Interlock System - Anti-Tip Snapper - can only control one door of a pair.
Q: Where do I mount the connecting rods is a 3 or 4 drawer system?
A:
The connecting bars (linkage bar) is dadoed (5/32” deep by 11/16” wide) into the side of the case good when dealing with 1/2" or 3/4” slides (snappers also mounted to side of case good, only the drawer clips are attached to drawers). Cannot use System 400 with undermount slides.
Q: How thick is the lockbar?
A:
At its thickest near the body .185" and near the tip of the triangular shaped snapper it is .095"
