Type in the height of the lid (the distance from front to back of the lid) and the weight of the lid:

Note: Inch-pounds is found by multiplying one-half the distance from front to back of the lid times the weight of the lid.
It is important to note that the lifting rating or pound rating of the lifting mechanism is / lifting mechanism and not for one pair of lifting mechanisms.
If you're going to be using two lifting mechanisms on the opening I would suggest that you divide your final inch pound rating by 2 and using the accordingly sized lifting mechanism.
