Questions and Answers
Q: Can straight roller bumpers be used on hollow core doors? If so, are they supposed to be mounted at the top or bottom of door?
A: They can be installed on a hollow-core door provided that you through both them and we can certainly supply you with a package of through bolts and also they're generally mounted on the top of the door. what specifically can we assist with at this time?
Q: We just had new doors installed and we are trying to figure out a way to keep the bathroom and closet doors from hitting. We would like to avoid using hinge stoppers, if possible. Image as seen here:

Is there any other options for this situation besides roller stopper or hinge stopper?

A: Incredibly common problem and in fact the home I lived in pryor had the identical arrangement and I turned the entry into the bathroom into a pocket door to permanently solve the problem.

Absolutely there is a better solution - hinge pin door stops and roller bumpers are really only last resort types of solutions to the problem that you have. The correct piece of hardware to use is called an overhead stop and of this piece of hardware can be reviewed as seen in here:
