Update - It was discovered that when the client ordered 613 oil rubbed bronze finish which specifically means that the base material would be solid architectual bronze with an oil rub process done on top of it, the factory shipped out a powder coated dark bronze finish over a stainless steel base. As a result of this, the material went back to the factory to be scrapped and a full refund was processed. Speaking on behalf of management and ownership of architectural Builders Supply I can tell you that we are extremely frustrated by manufacturers, companies that you expect to be experts within the industry, to use terminology loosely such as calling something oil rubbed bronze 613 when it is anything but that - in the example of the above not only is the Finish wrong but the base material is incorrect as well. What should have happened is the factory should have stated that they were unable to manufacture a 613 finish and asked that we accept or reject a powder-coated dark Bronze finish over a stainless base material. Since they did not they had to take this material and scrap all of it and there was 16 8-foot pieces that were a total waste as a result of this lack of proper request procedure.
