Product Description:
Bullseye Framon Installation Tool for Cylindrical Locks
  • Framon Bullseye Installation Jig
  • The new installation jig will assist installers with drilling wood or metal doors, both 2-3/8" and 2-3/4" backset
  • The tool is completely self-contained besides a 3/32" Allen wrench to change bore sizes
  • Features two 1/8" locating holes at 12 & 6 o’clock to locate through bolts on popular lever locks
  • A-1 originally produced the Bullseye. If you are a locksmith you are familiar with A-1. You probably also know the parent company closed A-1 down and "tossed everything in the dumpster" (Framon attempted to buy the company to no avail). A former A-1 employee and ownership at Framon are friends and the parent company gave the former employee permission to work with Framon and assist in developing any tools they used to produce. Framon received all of the drawings that A-1 had of the parts and made the exact same tool with the addition of the through bolt holes. Framon "would love to take credit for the engineering but that was someone else’s idea – and we don’t mask that fact about the jig – we just produced what they no longer make." As for the straps in the instructions, Framon offers a pair of straps that fasten to the side of the jig in the vertical slot. You can fasten two jigs together and drill lock/deadbolt holes for interconnected locks. The straps have measurements on them to make it easy to figure out the spacing.
