Questions and Answers

Q: A client has asked me to install a bell connected to their fire suppression system in their food truck. From the information given to me it appears to be a UL300 Buckeye BFR10 suppression system with a SRM2 mechanical Releasing module. I will need the MS-DPDT. I was wondering if there is a spec sheet on this micro switch and if a standard fire alarm buzzer will hook up to it.

A: I do not have any detailed information on this micro switch except to say that it is a typical double pole double throw micro switch which means itll have two common wires, two normally open wires and two normally closed wires and I would see no problem at all with you being able to add the buzzer to the food truck as youve outlined.
