Q: What are the dimensions of the soap holder and is it sold separately?
A: The plastic soap tray from AJW is not available as a separate item.

Q: Can this item be used on a wet wall? Other units specify wet or dry.
A: Possibly but what method id anchoring do you plan to utilize when attaching this unit to your wall?
Q: The photo looks like there are mounting screws. I would use those to secure to a wood plate recessed behind the wall tile. I would water seal the flange with caulk
A: That would work - there are countersinks in the rear wall of the soap dish for screws.

Q: I have a soap dish that looks identical to this one but it only requires 1 1/4" depth opening. Are there any metal recessed soap dishes that require only a 1 1/4" depth?
A: None that I am aware of that will take this shallow of a rough opening (it is likely your unit is from the 1950's - 1960's and if so, there is no alternate I can suggest).

Q: I need to know the center to center measurement between the pins the secure the plastic insert. I m not certain my soap recessed soap dish maker. the only way to verify without removing is to verify the center to center dimension of the pins.
