For an existing wall for an eight and three quarter frame I would recommend that you consider the DKS MAS875-1 Masonry Tube Anchor Which can be used for this size frame and in a pinch you could also cut the length of the flat straps down, putting from either side so as to accommodate any size frame that you're working on.
