Q: Hello, we ordered 5 s236-08r08-603-mp's and received 5 s236-08r14-603-mp's. When can I expect those to be shipped and when can I expect to receive them?

Q: Lauren - Prior to us shipping this material out to the client I would like to confirm my understanding that there are no changes whatsoever and that they are the same product. my concern is is that my understanding is that the 08 and one for value in the part number refers to the length of the screw. is that correct? and if not can you tell me just out of professional curiosity what specifically forced the part number to change? thank you richard

A: Thank you for the follow up and this is the confirmed answer.

The 08R08 version is the replacement part for the 08R14. Our engineers are currently going thru a process of removing certain SKUs from our system. The 08 unit is 1/2" in length and the 14 unit is 7/8" in length. We have determined that the 08 version can be used in lieu of the 14. This is the only difference between the 2 units.

In summary, the screw is a different length, but will work in all applications where the 08 length was specified.
