Use with AR Deathlatches or Cylindrical Latches. For Aluminum Jambs (equals to 7800 & 7840)

Product Features
  • Remote electrical control of any door equipped with an Adams Rite Series 4500/4700/4900 (or similar) deadlatch or
    "key-in-knob" sets
  • Electrical actuation unlocks strike jaw, releasing latchbolt so door can be opened without operating latch itself.
  • Extremely compact mechanism fits into aluminum jamb (or opposing door) sections as shallow as 1-5/8"

  • Fits prep 7500/7800/7000 Series

Lip Extensions are for centre hung doors, thick doors or other conditions that may vary from the standard 1 3/4" thick door that closes flush (or near flush) with the jamb face. For existing 7100 Series strikes, a thin metal membrane in the standard lip can be drilled or punched out and the lip extension can be added in the field

Questions and Answers
Q: Hi Richard, My company has Adams Rite electric strikes and they have asked me to check and make sure that they are all fail safe. How can i do this? or how can I change them to fail safe if they are not currently.
A: When the power is cut - are the strike locked or unlocked. If locked then they are Fail Secure. If unlocked they are Fail Safe.

The solenoids for these strikes cannot be reversed in operation. I can assist with a conversion. Please tell me what voltage you are operatigng on and which function you have, Fail Secure or Fail Safe.
