Stainless steel butt hinges with tamperproof stainless steel bolts and nuts
Opening Device:
Automatic hold open arm with red vinyl grip allows door panel to open to 90 degrees, locking door in open position, and allowing for easy control when closing door panel. When required, stainless steel compression springs can be provided to add lift assistance.
Standard Latch:
Flush aluminum drop handle with staple for padlock
Optional Latch:
Recessed padlock provision: st/stl slamlock

Q: does this door have a key lock? need something that locks but cant stick out do to being a trip hazard

The manufacturer regarding the Acudor FA-300-R 36 x 36 300 lbs. /sq. ft. Loading 36" x 36" Retrofit Single Leaf Angle Frame Floor Door - Mill has a provision for a padlock that you can add via a recessed area that the padlock will sit down flush into as seen in the technical drawing here:
