Q: I have a samsung SHP-DS510 it works until I attach the inside thumb turn face then it wont turn from the key or from the thumb turn as soon as i take the inside face off it works smooth ? any thoughts ?
A: With all instances of deadbolts like this it's just a matter of timing and it does seem counterintuitive that you'd actually have to think about how to time the tailpiece in relationship to the condition of the latch bolt the reality of the situation is that every deadbolt needs to be timed correctly.
I will be the first to admit that when I was new to this business many years ago the timing of the tailpiece was anything but common sense to me.
We do not sell these deadbolts but that problem is super easy.

Q: Thanks for the reply this was half of the problem the other half was the sensor magnet needed to be changed to left handed and powered and while powered the magnetic sensor needed to touching to re calibrate the lock into left mode.
A: Thank you for sharing your findings.
Q: What deadbolt can I use for a door thickness of 3-1/4"?
A: I would suggest you use the Kaba Ilco 45 series deadbolt as seen here:

You would order a double cylinder version of this deadbolt, you then simply order the proper length cylinders required (likely 1-7/8" length for the keyed cylinder and the mortise thumbturn if single cylinder or two mortise cylinders if double cylinder). Reach out to our sales department to confirm correct length of cylinders at the time of order.

I had to swap places of the deadbolt lock and keyedentry last night just to be able to close the door. Somehow plate of the deadlock on the door was functioning before but now there is not enough clearance between door and metal frame for door to close. Either way I am looking for permanent solid solution. What options can you offer?
A: A permanent solution would be to prep the edge of the door for the bolt using the Major MDLT-1 Pit Bull Door Tool

then purchasing the Adams Rite 91-0965 Universal Mounting Tab Kit – Flat/Radius Stiles

and then likely reusing your existing hardware or replacing it with a standard lock and deadbolt combination which I can supply you such as items as seen here:
