Q: I need to order two of the 8198AA for 27.5 inch doors. Should I order the 30inch or 36 inch to cut down? I dont want to cut off the predrilled holes. It looks like the 30 inch will work.
A:
I would order the 30 in length but that I would specify you are net length of 27-1/2 inch in the comment field so that the factory can provide the material precisely the lengths necessary saving you from both the trouble of having to cut it but also running the risk of the holes not being at the proper distance from the edge of the sweep.
