A: I would not bevel the lock edge of the door for this application as reversing the door in the pull out direction would be the conflict. The Pemko 354CP will tolerate being mortised to a beveled edge door, although I would top my router to a 3° angle, I do not see the advantage to having a beveled edge door for a patient room emergency application.

Is there a follow up question that we can perhaps attempt to answer? We take deep pride in our technical expertise (something Amazon can not provide) as we know it separates us from our competition, so don't hesitate to ask.
