The MOBOTIX M24M-Secure Hemispheric Camera with D11 Day Sensor (White Metallic Finish) uses a single L11 fisheye lens to provide a 180°; panoramic view of all four corners of a room, thereby minimizing the need for multiple cameras to monitor a single area. The D11 Color Day sensor produces images at resolutions of up to 2048 x 1536 (30 fps) so that even the minutest details are captured. The camera performs well even under a minimum illumination of 0.05 lux, making it suitable for use in low-light conditions. The integrated distortion correction software corrects the convex image at the borders so the viewer can see images in normal perspective. With the Virtual PTZ feature, the user can easily navigate and examine specific areas of a picture, without using a manual joystick. The microSD slot accepts cards up to 64 GB for on-board storage of high-quality videos with audio. In case of an alarm, the built-in microphone records the sound independent of the image rate, allowing for better analysis of a situation. Bidirectional communication is made possible via the loudspeaker. In addition, the all new HiFi audio component produces crystal clear audio and minimizes echoes during hands-free operation. The camera can be powered from the network itself via an Ethernet cable without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
