Recommended for new construction and retrofit installations including new door and frame, new door with existing frame or existing door with new frame.

• Special hinge reinforcements are not required. Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers’ standard is acceptable. Removal of hinge reinforcements in the door and frame is not advised. If hinge reinforcements are left in place, hinge fillers are needed before installation of hinge.
• Extruded 6063-T6 aluminum alloy/temper with pinless assembly
• Standard: all fasteners are Custom #12-24 x 11/16" FHUC, Type C, self-drilling screws
• QC8 Option:
  • Electric hinges allow a constant flow of current from the power source through the hinge to electrified door hardware. No external wires can be seen, eliminating tampering and improving the aesthetics of the door opening
  • For 4 amp continuous @ 24 volts AC or DC per circuit, 28 gauge multi-strand wires are used. A pigtail is provided for connection to the source wiring
