Recommended for new construction and renovations including new door and frame, new door with existing frame or existing door with new frame. Designed for use on retrofit applicationsand allows for adjustment in order to properly align the lock edge of the door to the frame.

• Special hinge reinforcements are not required. Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers’ standard is acceptable. Removal of hinge reinforcements in the door and frame is not advised. If hinge reinforcements are left in place, hinge fillers are needed before installation of hinge
• Extruded 6063-T6 aluminum alloy/temper with pinless assembly
• Designed for use with doors which are the standard 1-3/4" up to 2-1/4" thick
• Standard Fasteners are Custom #12-24 x 11/16" FHUC, Type C, self-drilling screws
• Designed for use with hollow metal frames, where the inset conforms to S.D.I. specifications for aligning doors and frames
• QC8 Option:
  • Electric hinges allow a constant flow of current from the power source through the hinge to electrified door hardware. No external wires can be seen, eliminating tampering and improving the aesthetics of the door opening
  • For 4 amp continuous @ 24 volts AC or DC per circuit, 28 gauge multi-strand wires are used. A pigtail is provided for connection to the source wiring
