This lock indicator sign is designed to show what way to turn the inside key of a classroom mortise lock, to lock the outside knob or lever
In a lockdown or panic situation the last thing you want to do is have to think what way the key turns or open the door to see if the door is locked
The indicator sign is red plastic about 2-1/2" outside diameter with a 1-5/32" inside hole to fit a standard mortise cylinder
Lettering and arrows are white
The sign has two strips of double side tape on the inside of the sign to prevent turning on door
