Q: how do i connect this to my laptop? i have a serial printer port, an rs232 type plug for an external monitor, im assuming these wont work, and usb, modem, and ethernet ports.
A: Rich, Good morning and thank you for contacting us. The KDP-552 is to convert the RS232 communications from a PXL-500 series controller to the serial port of a PC. Below is a diagram as seen here:
