Field Modifications: All Ives Aluminum Geared Continuous Hinges can be cut to length during installation. The unique mounting pattern allows to cut up to 6" from bottom while still having double row fasteners. If cut more than 13.5", other modifications may be necessary.

Questions and Answers

Q: TWP & TW8 DOES THIS ITEM HAVE ONLY 4 WIRES

A: The Thru Wire Panel (TWP) option was available in the CS mortise hinges, delivering the same continuous appearance as EPT solutions. The TWP slips in from the open mortise side of the door making for faster and more accessible maintenance when required, especially when paired with the Allegion Connect feature.

With the arrival of the new and much improved design of the XY Series TWP Continuous Hinge, the 112HD and 224HD Series optional TWP and TW8 will be discontinued effective August 14, 2017.The HD Series replacement TWP panels will still be available for a short period of time. We are currently investigating an improved HD series TWP as a longer term replacement for any current applications.
