Description:
Digital Watchdog's OMNI-Plus Series is powered by our Infinity DSP technology and OMNI-Focus lens. Our Infinity DSP technology offers features like WDR, Star-Light, HME, and Smart IR to help produce clear images, and our OMNI-Focus lens simplifies field-of-view adjustment by utilizing three lenses to view fore-, mid-, and background as one. Together they offer a camera that is crisp, clear, and always in focus.
Highlight Masking Exposure (HME):
Highlight Masking Exposure is used to suppress extreme bright light in a camera's field of view when there is very low light environment to capture all the details in the image. By masking the overly exposed areas in the camera's field of view, the camera can produce a true video image of any environment without detail loss from the light's glare.
Smart IR™:
Smart IR™ adjusts the image for IR cameras to eliminate LED light reflection and white spots in the image. By breaking down the camera's field of view into five zones, Smart IR allows for even distribution of the IR light. This prevents excessive illumination on images that are in the front of the scene and offers a clear image in B/W without any loss of detail.
Star-Light™ Super Low Light Technology:
Star-Light™ Technology provides crisp clear images in both color and Black and White in extreme low light conditions. Star-Light technology offers a slow shutter feature that increases the length of time the shutter remains open to collect additional light, illuminating typically dark environments. The technology also utilizes Digital Noise Reduction and Highlight Masking Exposure to enhance the image clarity, offering a clear image in any lighting condition.
TDN [True Day/Night] with IR Cut Filter:
During daylight, the IR cut filter allows visible light to pass through, reflecting the unwanted infrared light. In low light environments, where artificial or external light is not available, the cut filter is removed from in front of the lens, allowing the camera to capture the infrared light that given out from the infrared LEDs, to capture as much light as possible to produce brighter images.
Wide Dynamic Range (WDR):
Wide Dynamic Range technology mechanically allows to capture an entire scene in challenging lighting conditions. One shutter is set to a short exposure, capturing the bright areas in the FoV, while the other is set for a long exposure, capturing the dark areas in the FoV. The camera then interlaces the images and combines them, capturing both areas with no loss of detail. This allows for an image capture even when there are very bright and dark areas in the camera's field of view or images are distorted by a strong backlight. |
