Q: Hello! I'm looking for supplies that will enable me to seal me apartment... I constantly am running the air conditioner due to the hot air from outside leaking in, and the cool air exscaping to cool off the outside. So here's my situation so that you might be able to better service my needs.:) thanks! I have an aluminum sliding patio door - thats where I loose all of my cool air. The air is lost on all sides of the sliding portion of patio door. Do you have any weather strips, or felt... anything to trap the air from escaping, and still allow me to enter and exit to and from the patio? Also, the doors only have one payne, do you have any ideas on how to insulate the window? If it was my own place, I'd just replace everything all together to make my place enery efficient... :) but its not. Any tips for me, do you have any products I could buy to fix my problem? A: Can you tell me both of the width of the rigid plastic backer and the total projection?
Q: Backer is 3/8" wide and felt is 5/16" thick
