Questions and Answers

Q: I have a question about the SL500 sliding door controller. Design calls for an air curtain to be turned on whenever the sliding door is not closed. Is there a set of contacts in the controller we can land on that will provide a signal when door is not closed.

A: The SL500 book says that if you have the “IOU” board that it has an external relay out put, but it doesn't bother to label that or show us exactly what pins to use.

The easier way would be to just make use of a closed position switch so that as soon as the door is open it will trigger the activation of the air curtain.
