Q: i just installed a new 8800 on the door....the key will not unlock from the outside. i have is lined up with the existing holes marked from the previous bar...it works fine from the outside ..i am using the existing cylinder. if I turn the cross the door is not locked and you just have to pull open. what could be wrong?

A: Does the key in the exterior Rim Cylinder rotate at all?
