Ansul 443092 AnsuLite AFC3B 3% AFFF Concentrate, 265 Gallon
AnsuLite AFC3B 3% AFFF Concentrate
ANSULITE AFC3B 3% AFFF (Aqueous Film-Forming Foam) Concentrate combines fluoro- and hydrocarbon-surfactant technologies to provide superior fire and vapor suppression for Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires.
This synthetic foam concentrate is intended for firefighting applications at 3% solution in fresh, salt, or hard water.
ANSULITE AFC3B foam solution utilizes three suppression mechanisms intended for rapid fire knockdown and superior burnback resistance:
The foam blanket blocks oxygen supply to the fuel
Liquid drains from the foam blanket and forms an aqueous film that suppresses fuel vapor and seals the fuel surface
The water content of the foam solution produces a cooling effect for additional fire suppression
Application: ANSULITE AFC3B Concentrate can be ideal for fixed, semi-fixed, and emergency response firefighting applications such as:
The 5151 thermal detector meets the needs for applications where rapid response is vital and rapid temperature increases would only be caused by a fire emergency. The detector initiates an alarm in response to both rapid rate-of-rise conditions (increases in excess of 15ºF per minute) and fixed heat (135ºF). This enables the heat detector to communicate an alarm to the central control panel prior to reaching its fixed set point for high rates of rise, providing a timely response to both rapid and slow temperature increases.
