Q: Do you have available a panic/fire push bar exit device such as the Yale 2170F90 that fits a 28" door?
A: The Yale 2170 is a surface vertical rod exit device that requires a door width of at least 30". Do you you require a surface vertical rod exit device need and is this a pair of doors and are the door(s) flush?
Q: How do you change or adjust the backset?
A: Exit devices do not feature the ability to adjust the backside.
Can you tell me a little bit more information about what exactly you're looking at?
Q: Per your comment... LOL... I usually don’t get the opportunity to work on a lot of YALE exit devices, and however foolish I felt when you answered my last question this one may be a bit more realistic. I have come across yet another Exit Trim that the customer would like to convert to a storeroom function. Its on a YALE 311N exit device and it’s the lever trim, but I cannot seem to find the trim #. Its similar to the 2100 Rose Trim levers. This one doesn’t appear to be that easy to convert. Will I need to order a specific Storeroom function trim to accomplish this? Mike

The trim for the classroom and night latch are different part numbers and because of my experience at knowing that they cannot be converted and of course the absence of any reference to the possibility that they can be my conclusion is that you do indeed need to purchase an entire new trim part number and that a field conversion would not be possible from classroom to night latch also known as storeroom or night latch, storeroom back to classroom.
Q: Can you tell me the part number and list price only of the solenoid from the 691F.
A: The is not available by itself the trim would have to be replaced.
Q: Do you have or know of a combination lock either mechanical or electronic compatible with your 2100 series exit device? If yes what is it please?
A: If using a rim or Squarebolt device, then the NTT610 or NTT620 are the electrified trim that Yale offers. The NTT610 uses raised buttons and the NTT620 uses a touch screen like a smart phone.
If using vertical rods, Yale does not offer anything and I am not aware of any manufacturers that do.
